why is it??
mummy cooked white fungus dessert and here i am to teach everybody how to cook it!
Ingredients:
-1 packet of white fungus* (chinese translation:雪耳
) 
-6 - 8 red dates (optional)
-a bunch of pandan leaves
-5 lump of rock sugar
-1 pot of water
Method:
1. Clean white fungus and soak it for 3 days ( to make it soft ). Cut off stub, rinse, and cut to small pieces. Briefly wash red dates and pandan leaves.
2) Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add white fungus, pandan leaves(tied up), red dates and rock sugar into boiling water.
3) Bring it to a boil again. Reduce heat to low fire, simmer for 30 min or until it's slightly thicken , then simmer for another 30 min. Serve hot, or chilled. ( i prefer it to be hot!)
